AusConnect has two major Directional Drilling machines that are rock capable. Our Vermeer 36×50 DR machines have an evolutional system that works with an internal rod that rotates the rock capable drill head while the external rod rotates at a slower speed to enable the operator to navigate the head. Our DR machines can drill in solid rock up to 300 MPA.
